I’m only human and had a few other more pressing matters going on. But all is right again spunky boys and girls. Fancy Friday is here….under the disguise of Splendid Saturday. It’s the same….just a day late.

Okay enough about that, onto the fancy of the week that was…

A great decision

I must say I’m feeling pretty fancy about my new job. I’m glad I listened to my instincts on this oneย and I am actually looking forward to the crazy hectic times coming in the next week or so. This is a change. Amazing how the right position and people can make the world of difference. This is obviously fancy.

Yep it sure is pic via pinteret

SUP’ing up a storm

I went Stand Up Paddle-boarding (SUP) over the week-end. The weather wasn’t great. Not terrible, but not great (no sunshine, rain, a bit of thunder). The weather added more challenge to staying upright on the damn thing though! Such a great work out, a challenge for all those small muscles that help with balance and a wickedly fancy way to explore.

the weather cleared up nicely later in the day. What a spectacular view Ancona, Italy

ย Getting the exercise groove back

Finally! I’ve got my work-out groove back ๐Ÿ˜‰ happy chicky here. I’ve fallen into sync with a solid routine. A number of factors have messed with this in recent weeks. ย A bit of running, interval stair runs, walking up steep hills, yoga, body weight strength….I feel fancy. I’m loving doing a bit of this and a bit of that. I’m keeping it fresh and mixing it up. My body needs it. Here’s to a fancyย fit body!

Silky skin! Hooray!!!

I did a little experiment for a month recently. No gluten. The skin across my nose, cheeks and forehead became super dooper soft smooth and fancy. Awesome. I then re-introduced a few wheat products. Not huge amounts – a little bread, some pasta….and perhaps a croissant…(see last weeks Fancy Friday) I noticed the skin in that area start to become rough, bumpy and dry. It didn’t look bad, but it felt crappy to touch. Take away gluten for a week and voila…smooth again ๐Ÿ˜€ Very interesting. The body really is so interesting, so fancy.

It’s the week-end, get out there at find some fancy!

Glad you’re able to keep up some for of exercise….and P.S. Great photos again.

    • Yep that’s another thing I’ve noticed. If I have say a pasta meal or lots of bread generally 4 days later I have a bit of an eczema break out on my hands….interesting. Most times been really itchy and inflamed quite suddenly, but with cream and being careful with what I eat it settles right down.If I can control it by being even more careful with what I put into my mouth I’m pretty happy with that ๐Ÿ™‚
      Glad you like the pics!
